But the Pirate Party of Canada has started up, and if everything goes as planned for them they'll be plundering ... I mean pandering for your votes in the next election.

Small correction: The Pirate Party of Canada has recently _appointed_ an Interim Leader and Executive. Once the party has formed a non-profit corporation and has registered with Elections Canada to become an "Eligible party", then full elections will be held for Party Leader and Executive Council.
